Is there any way to get rid of menubar's transparency?
Published on June 8, 2008 By Apodic In Windows Vista

I really like the transparent frames, but when it comes to the menubar id rather go without and just keep it black.

So is there any way to do that?

I think he was referring to context menus, right click menus...

ok.. then yes.... make a black context menu image... import...and you'll have black menus.

I think maybe he's referring to the area behind the address bar in Vista... " explorer glass' tho.

yeah you can have the taskbar as bmp instead of png (transparent) you can also tweak settings in wb for transparency levels of the taskbar........

hope this helps you.

Open Windowblinds go to Transparency & Blur There is a dropdown box that lets you adjust the settings for Taskbar(bottom bar) ,Window frames ,Start menu ,and dropdown menus

Btw,If you are using Vista Home Basic, which doesn't support blur, the taskbar may look slightly washed out or pale.I usually set transparency for the taskbar to 2 marks above skin default to fill in the colors properly when this happens.
